Nightwave helps you sleep using breathing exercises
There have been several attempts to find alternative methods to help you fall asleep. Some seem a little ridiculous, but if you don’t want to take sleeping pills a lot of them are worth a try. This light actually seems to be based on a decent idea, whether or not it works is as always questionable. It basically coaches you through breathing exercises till you fall asleep. Which is no different than what you would do to for meditation, so if nothing else it will likely at least get you to relax and unwind before sleep. The Nightwave has a pale blue light that is supposed to be barely visible. The light fades and rises, you’re supposed to match your breathing with the light. iBreath Alcohol Breathalyzer
Just when you thought that iPod accessories consist of nothing but cases, speaker docks and earphones, along comes the iBreath Alcohol Breathalyzer. This is pretty much a self-explanatory device - it allows you to take your own alcohol breath test before your brain cells decide that it is better to catch a cab home instead of attempting to rush headlong into a DUI charge. The iBreath Alcohol Breathalyzer does not require any batteries to run as it sips power off the ipod it is connected to, and all functions as well as results are shown on the iBreath LCD display. It has a BAC range of 0.000 to 0.100% and comes with a timer to let you know when’s the next time for a test. (Read the full post about ‘iBreath Alcohol Breathalyzer’…)

Kogan intros world’s second Android phone: Agora / Agora Pro
We’ll be totally honest — we pretty much blew Ruslan Kogan off when he proclaimed that he was about to push out a $199 Android phone by the year’s end. And truthfully, the guy still hasn’t totally delivered, but you won’t find us kvetching about more Googlephones, regardless of MSRP. The Agora (AU$299; US$192) and Agora Pro (AU$399; US$256) are available for pre-order as we speak, though neither one is scheduled to ship out until the end of January. For those unfamiliar with Kogan, it’s an online-only enterprise that has wares built specifically to its dimensions in China, and so far as we can tell, it’s as legit as they come. Philips Norelco Bodygroom BG2030
I had a chance to try out the new Bodygroom BG2030 from Philips and Norelco, and I have to say that my face has never been so smooth. It was only afterward that I discovered that the Bodygroom is actually designed for all areas below the neck. However, it worked on my face! What can I say, the product does above and beyond its capacity. If you don’t believe me, check out some before and after pics of a now handsomer blogger after the jump. The Bodygroom is designed for “sensitive areas” like the underarms, chest, legs, back, and the (ahem) groin area. In case you are worried about cutting yourself, there is a hypoallergenic shaving foil for some extra protection. (Read the full post about ‘Philips Norelco Bodygroom BG2030′…)

Mac ‘Security Threat’ Evaporates in 24 Hours
Shortly after updating a security bulletin recommending widespread use of antivirus software on Macs, Apple took it down. The action reflects the company’s confidence in the security of Mac OS X — confidence that is, for the most part, well-founded. "We have removed the KnowledgeBase article because it was old and inaccurate," Apple spokesman Bill Evans told Macworld. "The Mac is designed with built-in technologies that provide protection against malicious software and security threats right out of the box." Tech enthusiasts and journalists have been debating Mac OS X’s security for years. One of the corporation’s memorable advertisements brags about the safety of using Mac OS X while teasing Windows for its vulnerability to viruses. The Simpsons Poke Fun at Apple
For almost twenty years, The Simpsons has been poking fun of American culture. Last Sunday, they satirized three things that are a long time coming: Apple, iPods, and Steve Jobs. To product themselves from copyrights, The Simpsons called the Apple store a “Mapple store”, substituted “My” for every “i” on the most well-known Apple products, and even had an appearance by Steve Mobs (do I need to explain the joke here?). Since a picture says a thousand words, I definitely invite readers to check out a clip of the episode (“Mypods and Broomsticks”) after the jump. What the clip doesn’t show is when Lisa gets her first MyPod bill that is over $1,000. (Read the full post about ‘The Simpsons Poke Fun at Apple’…)
