Sony Ericsson G700: The Organizer
Sunday, February 10th, 2008Sony Ericsson has come up with yet another smartphone, this time codenamed G700, and according to SE, it is made for the masses.
Based on the Symbian UIQ platform, the G700 features a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen, just like all smartphones should. One of the new functions is a new home panel, and the inclusion of stickie notes.
In terms of multimedia, the new Sony Ericsson phone comes with a 3.2-megapixel camera to shoot photos, or record videos. In case you want to listen/buy music, the phone supports the PlayNow music store, but if you want something for free, there is FM radio. So far there is no information about its price or release date.

Still on the topic of Sony Ericsson and their new cellphones, another fresh addition is the W980, that goes straight into the Walkman line.

As a Geek, perhaps you have the same issue as I do. You see, gadgets require power to charge up and the more gadgets you collect and use, the harder it is to find places to plug-in all your gadgets so when you’re running out the door in the morning to sit in traffic you don’t forget you Treo, Blackberry, iPods, etc… Combine this with multiple people in your house and every socket in your kitchen is in use! Wouldn’t it be great for cable organization so your gadget resting place looks as nice and neat as your wiring closet only you see in the basement?
